Police Continue Search for Suspects After More Counterfeit Money Used in Area

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police are investigating a theft from Walmart in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, an unknown black male suspect entered Walmart on Kimberly Lane between 2:17 p.m. and 2:34 p.m. December 20.

The suspect used ten counterfeit $100 bills to purchase various electronic items before leaving the store and fleeing in an unknown direction in a 4-door black sedan.

A similar incident was reported at Walmart in Clarion on December 20, when an unknown black male passed counterfeit $100 bills and fled in a black sedan.
