92-Year-Old Woman Dies from Injuries Suffered in I-80 Crash

CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A 92-year-old woman died as a result of injuries suffered in a one-vehicle accident occurred Friday on Interstate 80, west of Stoney Lonesome Road, in Clarion Township.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 8:12 a.m. on January 14, 65-year-old Larry F. Wolbert, of Lucinda, was traveling west on I-80, which was ice-covered, and lost control of a 2006 Ford Econoline that serves as a wheelchair van for Clarion Hospital.

The vehicle struck an embankment and then rolled over onto its left side before coming to a final rest.

Wolbert was using a seat belt and was not injured.
