JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Officials in Jefferson County say a missing Knox Dale woman has been located and the coroner has been called to the scene.

Authorities say 30-year-old Tia Marie Dobson, of Knox Dale, went missing on Monday. She was last seen around 10 a.m. leaving the West End Elementary School in Punxsutawney.

Police found Dobson’s 2008 Dodge Nitro on Tuesday evening along Steffey Church Road near Rossiter in Indiana County.

Authorities scoured the area for several hours searching Dobson, using K-9s and police helicopters.

On Wednesday afternoon, Punxsutawney-based State Police Community Services Officer Jamie LeVier told exploreJeffersonPA.com that Dobson “has been located and the coroner has been called to the scene.”

LeVier said no further information will be released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
