An Evening with Children’s Author Suzanne Bloom Set for April 3

CLARION, Pa. — Suzanne Bloom, author and illustrator of many children’s picture books will be visiting 537 Clarion: Community Learning Workshop on April 3.

The event begins at 5:00 p.m. with Bloom hosting a workshop titled “The Art of Storytelling.”

During this workshop, Bloom will share her expertise with parents, teachers, and pre-service teachers about writing stories and telling stories to children of all ages.

She will also offer advice on the “best” books to read aloud.

Workshop participants will all receive a free book.

Space is limited to 25 guests.

Then, at 7:00 p.m., Bloom will read her award-winning book, A Splendid Friend, Indeed.

She will also draw and discuss how she illustrates her books.

This event is free and open to the public.

The first 20 attendees will receive a free copy of A Splendid Friend, Indeed. No RSVP necessary.
