Local Car Cruise Benefit a Huge Success

title= VOWINCKEL, Pa. (EYT) — The turnout at Sunday’s car cruise at Cook Forest Country Inn in Vowinckel was one of the largest events that the inn has ever hosted.

There were over 100 hot rods, classics, and drag cars present.

The car cruise was organized to benefit Tri-County Animal Rescue Center of Shippenville, PA.

The inn’s owners, Bernie and Helen Fait, said, “We love cars, and we love animals. We are so glad to be able to help out such a deserving organization in our community.”

Cook Forest Country Inn plans to hold many more events for Tri-County Animal Rescue Center in the future.

Currently, the center rescues needy cats, and they will be rescuing dogs very soon.

They provide the quality care these helpless animals deserve until they can place them in forever homes where they will be treated as part of the family.
