CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — The Learning Workshop is hosting an “Earth Day” Open House on Wednesday, April 22.

The event, which is suitable for all ages, is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

There will be many activities occurring and “build-able” snacks will be available.

Activities include:

-Make a bird feeder

-Plant seeds in recycled egg cartons

-Make a sculpture out of biodegradable packing peanuts

-Learn how to create “shaving cream art”

-Participate in an educational scavenger hunt

-Pledge to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle with the Lorax

There will be 15 copies of the Lorax book given to the first 15 families to RSVP.
