VOWINCKEL, Pa. (EYT)  – There will be a spaghetti benefit dinner on Saturday, January 21, for a Vowinckel family who lost their home in a fire just before Christmas.

The Summers family — Rory, Eileen, Aletta and Ryder — lost everything in a blaze, but the community support has been considerable, and it continues at Bettina’s Italian Restaurant in Marienville from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The spaghetti dinner includes a salad, a roll, dessert, and a beverage.

The cost is $9.00 for adults and $4.00 for children under 6.

There will also be a Chinese auction.

To donate items or for more information, contact Tracy Slater at 814-661-3541 or Cindy Carbaugh at 814-598-3558.

Fundraising efforts on a gofundme page  https://www.gofundme.com/summers-family-fire have also been remarkable with more than 100 donors pledging $9,270.00 in the last month.
